Happy new year Folks! Sorry it's been a while since the last update. Our 7" Single 'Merry-Go-Round' will be released on March 14th. It will also be available for download via itunes and our very own website. The title track will be backed with new live favourites "Sweet Lil' Cheat" and "The Stink". We even recorded it all in a REAL studio and everything!! To commemorate this joyful occasion, we are also throwing a bit of a "do" at the Cambridge Barfly with some very special friends. As well as playing the the tracks from the 7", we'll also be unleashing a collosal amount of new material on yo' asses! more info here. Rest assured, we have not been resting on our laurels. Quite the opposite, we have been very hard at work forging our best material to date. Keep your eyes peeled for new demos of these soon!

This month we have mostly been tucked away recording some brand new material for a special EP to be released in the new year on numbered 7" vinyl and download. The songs in question are new live favourites Merry-Go-Round, The Stink, Lady Rebecca, Sweet Lil' Cheat. To whet your appetite, you can find a couple of live demo versions of these tracks here and also check out our listen page for shiny new versions of some old classics. In other news, The Shivers made history by being the very first track played on the now FM 209 radio! I'm sure if you tried hard enough, you could "listen again" or "podcast" or something....
