Cambridge's most exciting new band, The Shivers, soon started to raise the temperature in the club tent with their first appearance at the folk festival.
There aren't many rules at the folk festival but the one rule in the club tent is no kick drum allowed, so the group had to tone down a little to please the crowd.
They ended up with a slightly less raucous performance than their fans are used to but they did unleash a couple of intriguing new songs planned for release on their new album in January, which featured some harmonies that were really too pretty for a bunch of unshaven blokes in dark suits.
